ALL TIMES ARE EASTERN TIME ZONE! (1 hour earlier than Central)
KNIGHTLINE: Be at parking lot IFA Event Lot 650 at 8:00 AM to unload the truck and warm up. Be in half uniform, wearing everything below the waist and your chain mail undershirt and wrist bands, and carrying your tunic AND BELT. We will walk to the performance space, a distance of almost a mile, so bring something with wheels to help transport your instrument.
PRO TIP: If you can’t find parking, the lot immediately across W McCarty St. immediately south of of the Lucas Oil South Parking Lot (where the corps unload), has all-day parking for $20, and is only 1 block from the Practice Lot [bottom-center “P” icon in the photo].
This will be our first SoundSport appearance. The Knightline will be performing in exhibition about midway through the roster. Come cheer us on!
Groups perform a 7-8 minute marching music show in an area measuring 30 yards × 20 yards. The window for each group is 10 minutes in length, including set-up and exit, so things move quickly. Your best bet is to arrive early, enjoy the festival with all the excellent food and amazing performances, and when we step up, let the world know it’s KNIGHTTIME!

Access to the DCI Festival Marketplace in Lucas Oil Stadium will be available from 11:00a to 2:00p via the North Gate inside the festival. Clear Bag Policy will be in effect. Outside food and Drink will NOT be permitted inside the stadium, including food and drink purchased at the festival.Admission is free and open to the public.

Held as part of Drum Corps International (DCI) World Championships festivities, the SoundSport International Music & Food Festival presented by Jazz Wealth showcases DCI’s wildly popular SoundSport® and DrumLine Battle™ programs. Featuring ensembles of many types and participants of any age, the audience may be treated to anything from a full marching band to a tin whistle ensemble at this eclectic musical showcase. Now in its eleventh year, this event features more than 35 international and domestic ensembles performing in the morning and afternoon of Saturday, August 10th.
The exciting day of performances will mark the culmination of the summer portion of the year-round performance opportunities for the global SoundSport and DrumLine Battle programs, all taking part in a festival-like atmosphere with some of Indianapolis’ best food vendors onsite and entertainment aplenty.
